Summary
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for empowering the technology platform and service development. As a Senior Business Analyst in Platform Operations, you would be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing solutions and services related to business lines. You will play a critical role in managing the process with which our platform solutions are developed. Key responsibilities include:
Essential Functions
•Business Requirements: As a Senior Business Analyst, you may work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. This could include developing functional specifications, creating use cases, and defining acceptance criteria. You may also be responsible for conducting gap analysis and identifying areas where current systems or processes can be improved.
•Data Analysis: As a Senior Business Analyst, you may be responsible for analyzing data from different sources, extracting relevant information, and transforming it into a format that can be easily consumed by the company’s systems or other applications. You may also be responsible for loading the transformed data into the company’s data warehouse or other data storage systems. Your efforts may directly support the development of ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) functionality.

•Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used to improve platform operations.
•Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new initiatives or improve existing processes.
•Interface with clients and partners to ensure alignment of integration components and deliverables.
•Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented solutions and making recommendations for further improvements.
•Providing guidance and support to junior business analysts or other team members.
•Developing and delivering presentations or training materials to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
•To succeed as a Senior Business Analyst in Platform Operations, you will need to possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also have a solid understanding of data analysis, database management, and software development methodologies.
Education
•Bachelor of Computer Science, MIS or equivalent degree
•Master’s degree preferred
Experience
•Minimum 5 to 9 years of experience working as a Business Analyst in a technical domain, healthcare domain experience a plus
•Agile Methodologies, familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar agile management tools
•Data mapping and diagramming, development of data flow diagrams
•Experience operating in a cloud-based platform, Azure preferred
•Knowledge of cloud-based data resources preferred, Azure Data Factory strongly preferred
•Familiarity with working in a regulated industry
•Able to communicate and present complex issues with customers, partners, and senior leaders
•Hands-on experience testing Data Migrations & ETL workflows, SQL experience a plus
